Miss Universe Leila Lopes Poses For Vogue Italia

In a new photo spread in Vogue Italia, the reigning Miss Universe 2011 Leila Lopes poses for a series of photos shot by photographer John Jansheski for the magazine's "Rebranding Africa" issue. Lopes -- wearing a series of high fashion looks from Tom Ford and others -- strikes her poses in a schoolhouse. A fitting emblem of the tiara-sporting Lopes' goal to raise awareness about the future of Angola -- a former Portuguese colony -- which is currently recovering from a 27-year civil war. Leila, 26, is the eldest of seven children who went on to study business when not busy with pageants. She is, according to Vogue Italia, contemplating a move to Brazil to pursue an acting career before returning to Angola to launch her own cosmetics line.
